ABOUT NEC > ... > Emergency Text Messaging Service

One of the best ways to stay connected to important happenings on campus is through the College’s text messaging service. In the event of an emergency, weather-related delays or cancellations, or even parking lot closings for snow removal, the text message has proven to be the fastest and most effective way to alert the NEC community to important information.

Hosted through e2campus, the service is free. Standard text messaging rates will apply for each message. You can even have a second phone listed with the service for no additional charge. It’s a great way to keep family members connected to what is going on at the College.

Signing up is easy. Go to www.e2campus.com/my/nec to create your account and select your preferences.

For more information about this important service, please contact Jason Buck, Associate Dean of Students, at jbuck@nec.edu or 428-2241.
