NEC Leadership Conference 2009
The Office of Student Involvement will host a leadership conference for NEC students on January 30 & 31, 2009. This conference will host a variety of guest presenters, including Dawn Pleas-Bailey, the Vice President for Student Life at Southwestern College in Kansas; Joe Urbanski, the Executive Director of Seminar Design & Delivery for Collegiate Empowerment, Inc.; and Stephanie Soule Lesperance, the Associate Director for Campus Compact NH.
The conference will consist of large group sessions and smaller breakout sessions in which students choose what they want to attend. Some topics include conflict/resolution, game theory, servant leadership, multicultural leadership, stress/lifestyle management, and more!
For attending this conference (free of charge), students will receive the tools needed to take their leadership to new heights, learn more about themselves, and have a great time interacting with peers they may not normally connect with. All meals are covered, and the students will receive small gifts for attending.
All New England College students were encouraged to apply for this conference, and many were recommended by NEC faculty & staff.
