The Office of Public Information may also be contacted for specific photographic assignments on a case by case basis
-
Before requesting photographic support, please consider need and use of images

-
Start with good quality, high resolution digital images
-
Images should reflect good composition and presentation
-
Acceptable file formats include GIF and JPEG
-
Make a copy of and retain the original image
-
Crop the image to enhance composition
-
If you have basic photo editing software:
a. Adjust contrast/brightness

c. Resize image to a width of 400 pixels or less
d. Reduce resolution to 70 DPI for web use -
Before scanning photographs for use on the College’s website, even if they appear in College-related publications, please verify and document copyright license. Do not assume that images appearing in College literature are available without copyright restrictions.
A release form should be completed and signed by all those appearing in a photo to be used in a College publication or on the website. Forms may be requested from the Office of Public Information. Completed release forms should be forwarded to the Office of Public Information.
