David Pilla ’95 Elected to the NEC Board of Trustees
The New England College Board of Trustees is pleased to announce that they have voted unanimously in favor of electing David Pilla ’95 to the NEC Board of Trustees.
David graduated from New England College in 1995 with a B.A. in Political Science. While at New England College, he was a four year varsity letterman and a two-time captain of the men’s basketball team. He was the recipient of the NEC Coach's Award twice during his playing career. In 1999, the Coach's Award was renamed The Dave Pilla Coach's Award, presented to the NEC men's basketball player who best exemplifies sportsmanship and leadership, both on and off the court, as well as pride in the NEC men's basketball program. In the fall of 2005, David was inducted into the New England College Athletic Hall of Fame. He was named to the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities in 1995.
David is a Managing Director at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and has worked there for the last thirteen years. He oversees the Private Client Wholesale Execution Services Desk, a group that he formed in 2007 to handle all of the equity trading on behalf of Oppenheimer & Co. Inc’s 1,400 registered financial advisors. He also serves on the firm’s Best Execution Committee and has previously been named to Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals.
