For success in today’s Information Age, students need a broad range of skills and abilities. In NEC’s communication major, students learn to gather, analyze, organize, and present information in a clear and engaging fashion. Using a variety of media including print, radio, video, and computers, students develop expertise in writing, research, and critical thinking. Students complement their classroom studies with practical knowledge by working on the College’s newspaper and radio station. Professional internships provide valuable real world applications and are an important part of the communication major.
