At New England College, we approach the
study of history as the exploration of the thoughts, aspirations, and
achievements of every human life. Our students learn to research the
accumulated records of the past, interpret their findings, and share
the experience of the past in clear and useful ways. Although
invaluable to those who pursue the study of history, these skills are
critical to any field of endeavor, and particularly useful to
citizens of the new global century.
