The Steering Committee meets in the Danforth Room at the NEC Library on Wednesdays at 2:00 PM. The meeting dates are: March 21, May 16, August 15, and September 15 (the Annual Meeting, meeting place to be announced).
THE LINEC CURRICULUM COMMITTEE plans and arranges all classes/teachers and welcomes suggestions for new courses and presenters.
MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
Note the following policy changes for ease of record keeping:
LINEC’s membership year runs from September through the following August. New members who join in order to register for the Spring Term will be asked to renew membership in the Fall with the current membership. Dues must be paid before registering for classes.
Annual dues:
$35.00 per individual
$50.00 per household
After dues are paid each year, registration for each term is $10.00. Members may take as many courses as they desire during that term. Dues and registration fees cover the expenses of printing, mailing, and administering the LINEC program.

Membership Benefits
LINEC members receive course catalogs and supplementary brochures that cover all LINEC courses offered in the Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions. Course information is mailedabout one month prior to the beginning of each term.
LINEC members receive an invitation to the Annual Meeting. In 2007, it will be held on Saturday, September 15 (details later).
LINEC members enjoy a number of privileges at New England College, including:
• use of the resources at the Danforth Library.
• invitations to special college events.
• reduced fee for per-credit NEC courses.
• no-fee auditing of NEC course on a “space available” basis, limited to one course/semester.
• student discount at the College bookstore.
