Robert Emmett Ginna, Founding Editor of the New England College Press, brings to the position a rich and extensive background in publishing and significant experience in a number of related fields. A former editor in chief of Little, Brown and Company, Mr. Ginna has also served as an editor of four magazines: Horizon; Life; People; and Scientific American. He is the author of The Irish Way, A Walk Through Ireland’s Past and Present (Random House, 2003); a trade paperback of the book was published in May 2007 by Shoemaker & Hoard, an imprint of Avalon Publishing Group. His byline has appeared in a score of journals, and his intense interest in images and words led to prior work as a writer-producer of network television programs and theatrical motion pictures. From 1988 to 2004 he taught writing and film courses at Harvard. Mr. Ginna received his A.M. from Harvard University and a B.A. from the University of Rochester.
