CAREER INTEREST TESTING

Pathways Career Services offers the Holland Self-Directed Search and the Keirsey Temperament Sorter inventories to help establish correlations between student interests, personal characteristics, and specific fields of work.

Some assessment instruments are also accessible online. A few of these are listed below, with links.

Meeting with a Pathways career advisor is strongly recommended after taking an online test, in order to get the most out of the test results.

The Career Zone
Can look up careers under six broad areas, and also use the Holland codes (like the Career Interests Game) to do a quick self-assessment.

The Career Interests Game

The Keirsey Temperament Sorter

Quick and free version of this personality inventory.  CLP has the full print version available, which is VERY useful for targeting jobs that match your personality.  This is just a start to get you interested...

Queendom
Just for fun? a whole load of personality and career profile tests, many free, some with charges. Try the one on emotional IQ!
