The Pathways Center assists students in developing personal strategies tailored to fit their own learning styles and the teaching styles of the faculty who are their professors. The goal is always to reach optimal learning both in the short term, and as lifelong learners. Many of the skills and strategies that students learn in college will continue to serve them in their future career transitions, life stages, and avocations.
Academic Advising
Pathways staff will provide information regarding courses of instruction, learning resources, and College policies and procedures to aid students in pursuing their intellectual goals. Knowledge of College policies and basic academic procedures can help students work in cooperation with their professors, and develop personal strategies for academic success. Early identification and intervention for students in academic jeopardy is also coordinated through Pathways. The Coordinator of Advising provides faculty/staff training as necessary.
