CAREER SERVICES

The basic career service we provide at CLP is the individual career advising appointment.  In a relaxed, informal atmosphere, we provide informed guidance on a number of subjects, including:

• Choice of major
• Career "focusing" and general planning for life, including travel
• Interest testing
• Internships
• Summer jobs
• Resume writing
• The job search, in New Hampshire or anywhere else in the world
• Effective interviewing
• Graduate school search and application
  

In other words, if a student has a real career focus and a resume, great!  If they don't, that's fine; we help.  Other career services available through CLP include:

• Workshops and class presentations on career development topics and strategies

• The Pathways Career Library
• The NHCUC Job Fair
• On-campus job and/or internship fairs
• The NEC Career Advisory Alumni Network (CAN)
• Pathways career development courses
• Internet resources and weblinks to career resources
