Major: Outdoor Leadership with a double minor in Business and Psychology
Why did you choose the Outdoor Leadership program at NEC? I chose Outdoor Leadership because I love the outdoors and working with the kids. It seemed like a good fit.
What are your extracurricular interests? This is my first year of being a student leader for the Adventure Bound program. Outside of Adventure Bound I am WFR (Wilderness First Responder) certified. I am also High and Low Ropes certified and ran the ropes course for my local YMCA summer camp, Camp Knickerbocker.
Why did you choose NEC? Its a small school with a wide variety of activities and majors to choose from.
What do you do for fun on the weekends? Adventure Bound trips, skiing, hiking, ropes course
What is your favorite class and why? Hiking the Presidentials/the Bonds, it was fun and a great test of our skills.
What has been your favorite memory at NEC? My favorite memory is when the Outdoor Leadership program got the high ropes course.
What do you like most about Henniker? the small town.
What are your plans after graduation? I am working towards becoming a Certified Maine Guide. I am excited to use my Outdoor Leadership degree and see where the road takes me.
