Why did you choose NEC?
I chose NEC because it was a smaller school and I was interested in being a part of the cross country running team and the Adventure Bound Club.
Why did you choose the Outdoor Leadership program at NEC?
I chose the Outdoor Leadership Program at NEC because it was something that I was interested in and was something that I could see myself pursuing after graduation.
What are your extracurricular interests?
Outside of school you can find me helping out with the Adventure Bound Club, working on the ropes course, running, hiking, skiing, rock climbing and taking pictures.
What do you like best about NEC?
The best thing about NEC is that the class sizes are small and there are so many extracurricular activities and clubs you can participate in.
What do you do for fun on the weekends?
On the weekends I usually take advantage of the free seasons pass at Pats Peak, or am with the Adventure Bound Club on one of our sponsored trips!
What is your favorite class and why?
My favorite class so far has been the Wilderness First Responder class. It was challenging but packed with very useful information on how to deal with wilderness related injuries.
What has been your favorite memory at NEC?
My favorite memory of NEC was watching the Outdoor Leadership major grow over the past year along with the high and low ropes course.
How was your transition from high school to NEC?
When I first came to NEC it was a huge change because I came from a high school that was larger. It was a fairly easy transition once I joined a couple clubs to meet new people.
What do you like most about Henniker?
The one thing that I love about Henniker is that it's a small town; you can find things to do here. It's also close enough to Concord, Manchester and Boston.
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation I plan to become a certified Ski Patroller. I also want to find a job in which I can incorporate my two majors (Outdoor Leadership and Graphic Design.)
