The College offers a dynamic international climate that develops the student’s understanding of the world community. We believe the College community benefits from interaction among different cultures and societies. By offering a cross-cultural curriculum, promoting study-abroad, and encouraging enrollment of international students, the College fosters the students' awareness of world citizenship. As a result of New England College’s strong belief that international awareness is a an integral component of today’s higher education, the College has dedicated a range of institutional scholarships, grants, and work opportunities to make it possible for international students to study at New England College.

Currently, international students represent 9% of New England College’s population, bringing their cultural riches from 20 different countries throughout the world.  Our commitment to fostering a strong international community at NEC has ranked us 7th among other colleges for international diversity in the US News and World Reports.
