Dean's Welcome

As Dean of Admission, my goal is to make the Office of Admission a warm and welcoming place where visiting students and their families are at ease and feel at home. While a cozy atmosphere & comfortable sofa help this effort a great deal, it would not be possible without the amazing dedication of our admission staff.

Our team of admission counselors, support staff and student
ambassadors are the reason why a visit to New England College is an experience that can only be explained by those who have been here.  With their guidance, the application process will seem less like a brick wall to climb and more like a series of stepping stones that will lead to a garden of possibilities and opportunities you have yet to explore. With just one phone call or email, the Admission Staff can help answer questions about your transcripts, essay or perhaps even help you determine whether you should apply as undecided or with a major. At New England College, we take a “whole person” approach to the enrollment process. We want to know the intriguing things that make you so uniquely “you”, and there are many intriguing things that make our team just as unique!

Please feel free to contact me should you have any questions regarding the admission process, or any one of our counselors on the staff page. You will notice that their recruiting territories are listed indicating which applications they will review. You can find the counselor that represents your area, or whomever looks most like someone you would most likely relate to. Either way, I am sure you will find that we can answer any of your questions.

Thank you for your interest in New England College!  We look forward to working with you throughout the entire enrollment process.

Student Story
Adam Hennick
Adam Hennick, a Montréal, Quebec, Canada native, first visited New England College (NEC) about five years ago when his older brother was considering enrollment. Adam’s older brother did not ultimately enroll at NEC; however, Adam left campus that day with a couple of tangible souvenirs, a Men’s Ice Hockey t-shirt and a puck, as well as a valuable intangible memento – a favorable and lasting impression of NEC.
