NEC Veterans Resources Director

Dr. Philip Cate Huckins is a Professor of Education and the Director of Veterans Resources at New England College. Dr. Huckins works one-on-one with veteran students to help them understand their benefits and to help them transition into student life on NEC’s campus. Please feel free to contact Dr. Huckins directly during the application process or after being accepted with any questions or concerns you may have.

Students Engaged with Respect to Veterans Education (SERVE): The Veterans Association of New England College

Honoring both the principle upon which the College was founded and the service of the men and women of the armed forces this student organization was founded.  The goal of this group is to advocate for and support the matriculation of Veterans into the NEC community and to assist these Veterans with accessing campus services and programs.  The group will promote policies and administrative decisions that benefit Veterans.  They will also help the NEC community better understand the Veterans perspective by educating the NEC community about military life and customs.
