New England College Veteran Policies

1.    First Come, First Served: Eligible veterans under the Yellow Ribbon program at New England College are awarded on a first come first served policy.  The number of veterans New England College will accept through the program is unlimited.  Should New England College decide to discontinue participation in the Yellow Ribbon or reduce the number of allowed participants, NEC will continue the Yellow Ribbon program for those individuals already enrolled.

2.    Recalled to active duty: Should a veteran, active service member, or student with a further service obligation be recalled to active duty during a term, New England College will refund benefits received for that term.  Official documentation of the service persons orders is required.  Should the deployment occur late in a term, the College will consider incomplete grades or completion of courses while on active duty.  If courses can be completed no refund will be issued for that term.
