The NEC Alumni Association is asking you to submit nominations for alumni awards, Athletic Hall of Fame inductees, and for members to serve on the Alumni Association Board of Directors. YOU have the opportunity to nominate individuals who will be recognized by New England College for their outstanding achievements and community leadership since graduation; for their athletic achievements and enhancement of the athletic program while students at NEC; or for their ability to enhance the Alumni Association through their commitment to programs and projects which the Board undertakes each year. This is your chance to get involved!

Why?
To show pride
in its alumni, New England College annually confers its prestigious alumni
awards and Athletic Hall of Fame induction on those who have achieved
distinction. This achievement may be through exemplary service to NEC and its
mission or through personal commitment and dedication to community. The alumni
and Athletic Hall of Fame awards are the highest honors that NEC confers. To
determine the recipients of these important awards, we need you. Broad
participation in the nomination process is crucial in awarding the honors to the
most qualified alumni.

Forward your
nomination to the Advancement Office via email or direct mail including
all relevant background information and your personal contact
information.
Who
decides?
Your nominees
for the alumni awards and induction into the Athletic Hall of Fame will be asked
to complete a profile describing their recent activities. Completed profiles are
reviewed by committees consisting of fellow alumni, including past recipients
and inductees, faculty and coaches. The committees make the final selections in
late spring. A listing of award recipients and inductees will be included in the
summer Alumni Newsletter and Homecoming/Reunion information mailing.
Nominees for membership on the Board of Directors are selected by the Alumni Association at large by a ballot vote.
The 2007 Time Frame
- Nominations for Alumni Awards and Athletic Hall of Fame must be received by April 1, 2008.
- Nominees then will be sent information packets with profile sheets.
- Profile sheets must be returned by April 25, 2008.
