Former longtime Athletic Director George Hamilton is to be lauded for instituting the NEC Athletic Hall of Fame. Primarily through his efforts, the Hall of Fame was established in 1992, as a place to recognize individuals or teams associated with New England College. Through their skill, tenacity and loyalty, nominees must have contributed to the overall integrity and success of the NEC Athletic Program.
Up to five NEC individuals may be inducted annually into the New England College Athletic Hall of Fame. Nominees may be alumni, coaches, administrators, teams, or friends. Alumni must have graduated at least five years prior to their nomination and must have participated for a minimum of two years in one varsity sport.
