Inez McDermott, Associate Professor of Art History Before joining the college in 2000, Inez worked in art museums and curated exhibitions throughout New England. She believes that students cannot have a full understanding of the art works that they study in class without experiencing them in person. Therefore, field trips to museums are an important part of any class with Inez. She has taken three groups of students, faculty, alumni and friends to cities and sites in Europe since 2006. Inez hopes to make these trips an annual event and to expand these trips to include as many members of the NEC community as possible.
