You know you went to NEC if…

 

You could ski for free at Pat's Peak

• You’re on a first name basis with Rindi and Brad

• You knew “Party on the bridge” meant bring a $1.00 with you

• Tubing down the Tooky was a whole lot more than just tubing

• You knew everybody's name

• You knew Pop's was not your grandpa....

• Running across the Henniker stone bridge to safety was the norm

• The acronym CPW was spoken on a weekly basis

• Professors knew you by first name

• Bull Run...it was not a place to run bulls....

• “The Cat” is not referring to an animal

• Friday classes...yeah right...that would cut in to skiing time

• Having 10 females in your graduating class was a bonus

• Hitchhiking was an acceptable form of transportation

• You went to Doc Brown's office

• You went to Doc Green's store

• A dorm room could be transformed into anything you could imagine

• "Bowling" meant there was six straws

• Walking up the hill to the SPD house and well stumbling down it too....

• You knew the secret back entrance in to the pub

• “The Nook” meant great food

• You used linen service sheets for toga parties

• There was usually one party every weekend that the whole school attended

• You witnessed a "Mr. NEC" contest

• You ate Whimpy's food at the Rock

• You played setback in the student union

• Lucky Star was a five star restaurant

• You knew the SADD van was always available if you didn't want to walk

• You loved being on a division three college sports team, because it meant you could play

• You wore Weejuns without socks

• You loved roast beef sandwiches from Garbo's

• You raided SAB, SPD, and LED in the early hours

• The Rock Garden was a place to hang out, but not really to eat in..

• You knew what taking a ride up Craney Hill meant

• You remember Miss Budweiser of 1972

• You helped build NEC’s Covered Bridge

• You survived Dean Gilmore's advanced math classes

• You lived In Tower House

• You were personally acquainted with "JOE THE COP" .....the only  law in town

• You probably owed Sterling money for gas

• You learned how to use the crank up telephones by just asking the operator for the person you wanted

• If you & your Colorado partner could play foosball in the old Pub and beat all the guys!
