The NEC Annual Fund
The NEC Annual Fund monies are used to continue the College’s commitment to
support library resources, faculty development, athletics, student life
and student financial assistance. Most importantly, contributions to the
NEC Annual Fund help to continue the student-centered, nurturing environment
for which New England College is renowned. Because gifts to the NEC Annual Fund
are not designated for a specific purpose, the College can use those
gifts wherever the need is greatest.
Every gift, no matter what size, does make a difference. Twelve percent of New England College's alumni, plus hundreds of friends, parents of current and past students, contribute to the College annually. Support from those closest to New England College is used to attract gifts from foundations, corporations, and other sources. Participation from our own college community encourages participation from external sources. Although large gifts are vital to the success of the college’s programs, participation in any amount is equally important. Thus, a dollar for New England College is a vote of confidence for New England College. Gifts to the NEC Annual Fund provide the College with over $500,000 in operating funds each year.
Corporate Matching Gifts are a valuable source of support for New
England College and a way to qualify for recognition in a higher Giving
Society. Corporate matching gift programs match contributions 1:1, 2:1,
or even 3:1.
Contact your personnel office for instructions. Most employers will also match gifts made by the spouse of their employee, so please check all possibilities for having your gift matched.
