- New England College junior Marisa Ayotte (Feeding Hills, Mass.) would net the game-winner with 20 minutes remaining in regulation to lift the Pilgrims past the visiting Salve Regina Seahawks 2-1 Monday afternoon. With the win the Pilgrims improve to 7-3 overall and remain undefeated in conference play improving to 3-0. The loss drops the Seahawks to 6-5 on the season and 1-3 in the conference.

- New England College men’s soccer forward Paul McLean (East Hartford, Conn.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Rookie of the Week for his performance throughout the week of Sept. 29 – Oct. 4.
- Hughes named September Athlete of the Month
- New England College women’s soccer keeper Kerry Hughes (Wallkill, N.Y.) has been named New England College’s September Athlete of the Month.
- Late goal lifts Pilgrims past Colonels
- New England College’s Paul McLean (E. Hartford, Conn.) would net the game-winner with just under five minutes in regulation lifting the Pilgrims past the visiting Curry College Colonels 3-2 Wednesday afternoon. With the win the Pilgrims improve to 5-4-0 overall and 3-2-0 in TCCC play. The loss is the first in conference play for the Colonels who move to 4-1-0 in the TCCC and 6-3-1 overall.

- Curry College’s Suzie Jensen (Framingham, Mass.) would boot in a rebound in the 53rd minute to lead the visiting Colonels past the New England College Pilgrims 1-0 Tuesday afternoon. With the win the Colonels improve to 7-1-2 overall and 3-1-1 in TCCC action. The loss evens the Pilgrims’ overall record at 4-4-2 and moves them to 2-2-1 in conference play.

- New England College field hockey would record nine unanswered goals en route to a 9-0 win over conference opponent Regis College Tuesday afternoon in Weston. With the win the Pilgrims improve to 6-3 overall and 2-0 in the conference. The loss drops the Pride to 0-6 on the season and 0-2 in the TCCC.

- New England College women’s soccer defender Meghan O’Shaughnessy (Manchester, N.H.) has been named The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) Defensive Player of the Week for her performance throughout the week of Sept. 21 – Sept. 27.
- Men's Cross Country finishes fourth at Blazer Invitational
- New England College men’s and women’s cross country teams both competed in the Elms College Blazer Invitational this past Saturday in Chicopee, Mass. The men’s team finished fourth out of six teams while the \ women placed sixth out of seven teams.

- Western New England College’s Shawn DaCruz (Ludlow, Mass.) scored 26 minutes into the first half to lead the Golden Bears to a 1-0 victory over the Pilgrims of New England College on Saturday. With the loss, the Pilgrims fall to an even 4-4-0 overall and 2-2-0 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference, while the win brings the Golden Bears to 5-4-1 overall and 2-2-0 in TCCC action.

- A goal by New England College’s Veronica Hytner ( Saint James, N.Y.) with just over four minutes remaining in the first half was all the Pilgrims needed as NEC defeated the Golden Bears of Western New England College 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. With the win, the Pilgrims better their record to 4-3-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the Commonwealth Coast Conference, while the loss drops the Golden Bears to 2-6-0 overall and 1-3-0 in TCCC action.

With the loss, the Chargers drop to 1-4 overall and 0-2 in TCCC action.
- Women's Soccer plays in-state rival Colby-Sawyer to a tie
- The Colby-Sawyer and New England College women’s soccer teams played to a 0-0 tie after regulation and two overtime sessions, on Saturday afternoon. The Chargers go to 4-1-2 overall and 1-0-1 in the TCCC. The Pilgrims are now 2-3-2 overall and hold a 0-1-1 in conference action.

- New England College field hockey picked up their first conference win of the season defeating rival Gordon College 4-2 Friday night in Wenham. With the win the Pilgrims improve to 4-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play. The loss drops the Scots to 0-6 on the season and 0-1 in the conference.

- New England College junior Samantha Escobar (Rumney , N.H.) netted a goal and dished out an assist leading the Pilgrim field hockey team past Castleton State 3-0 Wednesday afternoon. With the win the Pilgrims improve to 3-2 overall, while the loss drops the Spartans to 0-5 on the season.

- New England College women’s soccer forward Tamra Comerford (Fremont, N.H.) would net the game-winner just six minutes into the second half lifting the Pilgrims past the visiting Green Mountain College Eagles 1-0 Wednesday afternoon. With the win the Pilgrims improve to 2-3-1 on the season, while the loss drops the Eagles to 0-3-0 overall.

- New England College men’s and women’s cross country teams both competed in the Smith College Invitational this past Saturday in Northampton, Mass. The men’s team finished eighth out of nine teams and the women placed tenth out of ten teams.
