Evans & Dresser pick up TCCC honors
Two New England College field hockey players picked up Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) honors for their performance during the opening week of the season.
Senior midfielder Jodie Dresser (Keene, N.H.) picked up TCCC Offensive Player of the Week honors. Dresser helped lead the Pilgrims to a 5-1 win over MIT on Saturday scoring the first goal of the game and later assisting a goal to finish the game with three points.
Junior defender Khatianna Evans (Wayne, Maine) was named TCCC Defensive Player of the Week. Evans anchored a solid Pilgrim defense that allowed just one first half shot in their 5-1 win over MIT on Saturday.
