Men's Cross Country finishes fourth at Blazer Invitational
New England College men’s and women’s cross country teams both competed in the Elms College Blazer Invitational this past Saturday in Chicopee, Mass. The men’s team finished fourth out of six teams while the \ women placed sixth out of seven teams.
Leading the way for the men was Abimael
Medina who finished the 8K race in a time of 29:53 good enough for 13th
place. NEC’s Mike Harrison
finished 16th with a time of 30:08 and Andrew Teixeira finished the
race in a time of 36:43 followed by Joseph Castlelot with a time of 36:45.
Leading the way for the women was first-year runner Alanna McMullen who finished the 5K race in a collegiate-best time of 22:30. NEC’s Jennifer Vadas finished 33rd with a time of 23:57 and Teryasa White ran her collegiate-best finishing in a time of 25:21.
