Men's Hockey picked third in ECAC East Poll
New England College men’s ice hockey has been picked third in the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Preseason Coaches’ Poll. The Pilgrims finished a close third receiving 81 points as Castleton State grabbed the second spot with 86 points. Grabbing the top spot in the poll was Norwich University who received nine of the ten first place votes.
The Pilgrims ended their 2008-09 campaign last season falling in the ECAC East Semifinals and finished with an overall record of 15-10-2 and a record of 9-8-2 in the ECAC East. The Pilgrims open up their season on Friday, Nov. 20 when they travel to take on ECAC East opponent Skidmore College at 7:00 p.m.
