Men's Ice Hockey hosting ECAC Championship
New England College men’s ice hockey will host the 2009 ECAC East Men’s Ice Hockey Tournament this weekend at the Lee Clement Ice Rink on the campus of New England College. The action will start on Friday, March 6 with a semifinal match-up which will pit #7 seeded Babson College against #6 seeded Skidmore College at 3:00 p.m. In the second semifinal the host #4 seeded New England College will take on the #8 seed UMass-Boston at 7:00 p.m. The championship will be held on Saturday as the two semifinal winners will battle at 4:00 pm.
The first 200 NEC students will be allowed in free for NEC games only, with valid school ID. Tickets will be available in advance by calling New England College Athletic Department at 603-428-2335 Mon.- Thu. from 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Tickets may also be purchased on campus by visiting the Lee Clement Ice Arena. Everyone must have photo ID available when they pick up their tickets.
