NEC Men's Ice Hockey players named to ECAC East All-Academic Team
Eight New England College men’s ice hockey players have been named to the 2008-09 ECAC East All-Academic Team. To be named to the All-Academic Team, the student-athlete must have completed one academic year, have a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher and have complete in at least one-half of the team’s contests this season.
The following have been named to the ECAC East Men’s All-Academic Team: Johan Granath, So. (Stockholm, Sweden); Aaron Harvey, So. (Milford, Nova Scotia); Bill McGinnis, So. (Williams Lake, Nova Scotia); Filip Bjork, Jr. (Stockholm, Sweden); Mark Ehl, Jr. (Vancouver, British Columbia); Jon Globke, Jr. (Bloomfield, Mich.); Trevor Turner, Jr. (Westbank, British Columbia); Per Thunberg, Sr. (Likoping, Sweden)
