Two NEC Hockey Players Signed by the ECHL
NEC senior forwards Mike Mullen (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Brian Pouliot (Hooksett, N.H.) have been signed by the East Coast Hockey League’s (ECHL) Pensacola Ice Pilots.
Mullen finished his senior season at NEC third on the team in scoring with 32 points including 13 goals and 19 assists. Mullen played three seasons at NEC finishing his career with 32 goals and 46 assists.
Pouliot picked up ECAC East 2nd Team honors this season finishing the season second on the team in scoring with 38 points including 18 goals and 20 assists. Pouliot was tied for the team lead with three game-winners this season and ranked seventh in the ECAC East in scoring averaging 1.17 points per game. Over two seasons at NEC Pouliot finished his Pilgrim career with 59 points including 26 goals and 33 assists.
