Women's Soccer helps out Big Brothers Big Sisters
For the second straight year members of the women’s soccer team participated in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Manchester Bowl for Kids’ Sake Fundraiser. Eleven NEC student-athletes raised over $1700 in pledges for the cause and participated in the event held at Stadium Ten Pin in Manchester.
The event is held every year and this year Big Brothers Big Sister celebrated their 25th Annual Bowl-A-Thon. The Bowl for Kids’ Sake goal is to raise funds and awareness in support of matching children to volunteer through the Big Brothers Big Sisters programs.
The following member of the women’s soccer team participated in this year’s event: Ashleigh Bakaian, Audra Cyr, Stevie Hayes, Katie Haynes, Kerry Hughes, Debbie Lyons, Megan O’Shaughnessy, Amy Searle, Laurie Silva and Jocelyn St. Marie.
