ECAC Quarterfinals: NEC 1, WPI 3Worcester, Mass. --- WPI rallied with three goals in less than two minutes late in the second half to defeat visiting New England 3-1 in an ECAC Division III New England field hockey quarterfinal contest on Wednesday evening. Henniker, N.H. – New England College field hockey as earned a bid to the ECAC New England Tournament with an overall record of 14-8 after falling to Nichols in the TCCC Championship on Saturday. Henniker, N.H. – New England College men’s missed The Commonwealth Coast Conference (TCCC) playoffs for the first time since 2002 finishing the season with an overall record of 8-8-2 and a conference record of 5-6-2. The Pilgrims’ season was highlighted by huge wins over Endicott College and in-state rival Colby-Sawyer and a tie with conference powerhouse Roger Williams in their final game of the season. More…
