“Wrestling with Angels: Playwright Tony Kushner”
The
LCC/General Education committee presents this feature documentary film
about Tony Kushner, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning playwright
of Angels in America (the NEC Theatre Department’s fall
production.) The film looks at “the mystery of creativity” and the role
it plays in helping people understand and address their most fundamental
moral and political struggles. Alex Picard, Assistant Professor of
Theatre, will facilitate a discussion immediately following the film.
