Please join us at the Chester Gallery for a Gallery Talk by distinguished Alumna and former Chairperson of the NEC Board of Trustees, Debbie Spring Reed on Thursday, October 5. Debbie will be speaking on the life and art of her late husband Verner Reed, photographer for LIFE magazine and Vermont Life among other artistic endeavors.
Debbie has long served as archivist and registrar for Verner’s work. We are fortunate to have on loan this beautiful exhibition of black and white photos documenting many intimate and amusing moments from New England summers past.
