Finding Your Voice

Students of writing will often hear the term “authentic voice” used, but what does this term actually mean? In this workshop we will look at examples of published writers to determine what contributes to their distinct and authentic writing voice.  We will also look at our own work-in-progress to examine how we can strengthen our personal writing voices in order to fully engage our readers.

Students: Please bring a copy of a Writing essay in progress for a workshop exercise
