Join Professor Melander as he presents readings from Paul Hempell's Lovesick Blues: The Life of Hank Williams.
This biography is written from the perspective of a southerner - the
son of a truck driver in the days before the interstates, who grew up
listening to the songs of Hank Williams; the kid from Birmingham who
still epitomizes country music.
