Professor Carol Hendrickson teaches cultural anthropology at Marlboro College in Vermont. Study trips to Mexico, Cuba, Vietnam, and India inspired her to integrate her anthropology and art training in the form of illustrated field notes and handmade anthropology/art books.
In addition to books and articles about the Maya, Carol has published articles about drawing as part of field research in Visual Anthropology Review and Expedition.
This event is sponsored by The Friends of the NEC Library and is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact the New England College Library at 603-428-2344.
