Gen Ed Event - Is Nature Natural?

The discussion of nature has been extremely important in the world today. In this important General Education event, professors Mark Mitch, William Homestead, Tod Ramseyer, Bryan Partridge, and VPAA Don Melander will be discussing their conceptions of nature. They will address the following questions: What is nature? How have ideas and definitions of nature changed over the past 100 years? How do those changes effect us as a human race? How has our interaction with nature changed? Is nature natural? There will also be time given for answering questions.
