Snacking on Science Seminar
Our
fifth Snacking on Science Seminar of the year will feature Dr. Brian
Penney, Associate Professor of Biology at Saint Anselm College. He will
be giving a presentation titled "Sea slugs that sting and steal: Use of
sequestered chemicals and nematocysts in nudibranchs". (Basically
sea slugs eat critters that have toxins and stinging cells and then
co-opt those defenses for their own use. How cool is that?)
This event is sponsored by the NSM Collegium. Food and beverages will be provided. For more information, email jnewcomb@nec.edu.
