The New Hampshire Clothesline Project at NEC
In recognition of April as Sexual Assault Awareness/Activism Month,
the Liberal Core Curriculum (LCC) at NEC, in cooperation with the Americore Victim's Advocates Program,
will be sponsoring t-shirt making for The New Hampshire Clothesline
Project. Join us in CEI 201 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 8.
"The
New Hampshire Clothesline Project, part of the National Clothesline
Project, is a visual display that uses t-shirts to bear witness to
domestic and sexual violence. Each shirt is designed to represent a
particular person’s experience and is made by a survivor or someone who
cares about them. The shirts are then displayed to the public."
For details, contact Fran Chelland, Director of General Education/LCC, at fchelland@nec.edu.
