Barbara Sowle

Toting a unique educational background, Barbara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Sciences from UC Santa Cruz in California in 1999.   After a few years of working in the environmental field in several states, she returned to school to study psychology. She received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology in 2008 from Argosy University in Seattle, Washington.  Barbara also took classes at New England College through the mental health counseling program.  Barbara enjoys counseling students. She believes college is an exciting time in one’s life where there are so many opportunities. “College is a time when individuals get to better know themselves and I love being part of this unique experience.” Barbara strives to help students create a more positive outlook on life and to discover their true potential.

Originally from California, Barbara moved to New Hampshire in 2008 along with her husband who grew up here.  She loves being in New Hampshire and enjoys snowshoeing with her dogs, apple picking, and outdoor photography.
