Eugene Durkee, M.T.S., has been working with college students and adult career changers for over twenty years. He has worked predominantly in higher education: managing offices, creating programs, and advising students, and has also served as consultant to business and non-profit organizations.
As the Director of Career and Life Planning at New England College, Gene focuses on the human approach to job and career change, encouraging students to think and tell the truth about themselves, in order to have meaningful conversations about work. He currently manages the career services, study abroad, and community work-study operations at NEC.
He works with students and communicates with employers every day. Gene also plays guitar, currently performing with the traditional Irish band Reaganta, and also occasionally with renowned Irish piper, Paddy Keenan.
