William Carr

William R. Carr graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1973 with a B.A. in both Political Science and Communications, serving as the Student Representative for the Dept. of Communications. Bill has taken both undergraduate and graduate classes at New England College;  enrolling in the Masters of Science and Management Program with a 3.84 grade point average and 2 credits left to complete. Bill is interested in students’ activities serving as Advisor for the Business Club. Bill is interested in expanding the use of technology (Blackboard Shell uses, etc.) to better serve the student population.

Personally, Bill enjoys hiking (have climbed all 48 of the 4,000 foot peaks in NH), skiing, both downhill and cross country, mountain biking and travelling. Bill has led NEC students hiking and camping on Adventure Bound trips as well as cross country skiing backcountry trips in the Mink Hills. Bill enjoys volunteering in many of NEC’s activities. The community provides a wealth of opportunities for self enrichment.
