Teaching Philosophy

I love to teach and help students learn business theories and practical skills that can be used today and in future careers. My approach is to use a variety  of different experiential-based learning activities with appropriate assessment metrics to reach the many classroom learning styles. I try to create an inclusive learning environment that demonstrates equity within the classroom.

Teaching Background

I have had the opportunity to work in education and training since 1984.  In addition to my  part-time role at NEC, I teach for  Granite State College, and operate a part-time business, teaching software skills at leading New Hampshire corporations.

Other Interests

I enjoy hiking, camping, traveling, bicycle touring, and playing traditional old-time music from the southern Appalachians.
