The New England College MFA Program in Poetry is assessed on a per-credit basis. The 2008/2009 cost is $446 per credit with each semester containing 16 credits including the residency component for a total of 64 credits. There are no charges for the final and fifth residency in which students present their final manuscript, participate in a senior panel and give an extended reading. Room and board for the first four residency components of each semester is approximately $800 in addition to the tuition and student fees.
