
The H. Raymond Danforth Library is located at 196 Bridge Street in Henniker, New Hampshire on the campus of New England College.
The Library is an intimate and inviting space in which to explore the many aspects of academic research as well as to relax and enjoy a good book. The Library is staffed by librarians dedicated to providing students, faculty and staff the attention and professional expertise needed to successfully fulfill any and all information needs. The librarians seek to create a learning environment conducive to the academic endeavors that students will encounter at New England College while also helping students acquire the skills for a lifetime of learning.
The Library provides an array of resources designed to meet student and faculty research needs. A mix of print and electronic resources includes about 100,000 book volumes, 300 print periodical subscriptions, access to over 15,000 periodical titles through electronic indexing and full-text databases, a number of electronic reference sources and a web page of Internet resources selected by the librarians for subject specific and assignment specific topics.
The Library houses a 30 seat computer lab, several comfortable reading rooms, quiet study space and an instruction area. It is open nearly 100 hours per week. Reference assistance is available over 70 hours per week.
