New England College Offers Dual Acceptance Program for Community College Students Nationwide

Community College Students Now Have Access & Affordability with CC2NEC

New England College (NEC) is making quality education even more accessible to students across the country. By launching a new “CC2NEC” dual acceptance program, community college students in good standing from anywhere in the United States will automatically be accepted into New England College.

The CC2NEC program – which stands for Community College to New England College – was created to meet the needs of a growing student population. A recent report by the American Association of Community Colleges confirms that nearly half of all undergraduate students in the United States begin their college career at a community college. As an institution committed to innovation and student-centered education, New England College is creating an opportunity for community college students to achieve their academic and professional goals.

The CC2NEC program offers numerous benefits that community college students want: ease of transfer, an array of strong academic programs, the option to study online or on campus, and affordability. In addition to a smooth credit transfer process, community college students with high grade point averages can further enhance their resumes by enrolling in New England College’s Honors program. Generous scholarships are also part of CC2NEC, and could cover more than 50% of full-time tuition for students transferring to NEC’s Henniker campus.

“It’s simple,” said Brad Poznanski, VP of Enrollment at New England College. “When a student is admitted to a community college, that student is admitted to New England College.” New England College is a private, nonprofit college in New Hampshire that is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). “Students need options and the CC2NEC program does that. It gives community college students a chance to earn their bachelor’s degree from an accredited, private institution. If you want to attend on campus or online, or a combination of both, we welcome you!”

CC2NEC offers community college students three compelling benefits:

1. Immediate acceptance into an accredited college, including eligibility for NEC’s Honors program. CC2NEC students get to choose from dozens of sought-after degrees and work with engaging and accomplished faculty on campus, online, or both.
2. Up to 90 credits accepted. If courses meet program requirements, CC2NEC students can apply up to 90 community college credits toward an accredited bachelor’s degree, in any major offered at New England College.
3. Affordability and value. CC2NEC students coming to campus will benefit from a significant reduction in full-time tuition, thanks to generous institutional grants and scholarships… on average, 50% below standard full-time tuition.

Through the CC2NEC program, NEC will welcome more students like Viktor Montanez who transferred from NHTI and is majoring in Criminal Justice. “It was easy for me to make the transition from community college to New England College. NEC is a welcoming place and I’m loving it.”
