MFA Poetry Program at NEC Announces 2011 Summer Readings

The Master of Fine Arts in Poetry program at New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire, announces the summer 2011 schedule of poetry readings. All readings will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the New England College Simon Center unless otherwise specified. Readings are free and open to the public. THE MFA IN POETRY PROGRAM AT NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE

The New England College MFA Low Residency Program in Poetry offers a rigorous yet innovative focus on poetry taught by an outstanding faculty dedicated to mentoring each student according to their interests and aesthetic.

Founded in 2002, we are a diverse community of poets working together in a collegial program that recognizes the importance of close listening, critical acumen, respectful response, and what Marianne Moore called “a place for the genuine.” With over 100 graduates, our alumni  publish, teach and are winning awards for their writing.
