NEC Field Hockey Players Pick up Academic Honors
Sixteen New England College field hockey players have been named to
the 2010 Gladiator SIG/NFHCA DIII National Academic Squad. The National
Academic Squad recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a
cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the
2010-11 academic year.
Seniors Heather DiNapoli and Chelsea
Fournier received the recognition for the fourth time; junior Amanda
Naime and sophomore Alicia Bartosik were named to the team for the
second time.
Making their first appearance on the squad was
Elaine Armstrong, Marisa Ayotte, Sarah Calder, Courtney Duquette, Safiya
Elkady, Rachel Hunt, Brianna Gerrior, Emily Kuchta, Melissa Mower,
Kristen O'Connell, Katherine Rich, and Molly Wilcox.
