NEC Theatre Department Presents Hotel La Putts

NOTE: The performance on Friday, April 1 is cancelled as a result of the snow storm.

The New England College Department of Theatre performs Hotel La Putts on March 31, April 1 and 2 at 7:30 p.m., and April 3 at 3:00 p.m. The public is invited to attend and all performances will be held in the Mainstage Theatre in the Science Building on Depot Hill Road in Henniker. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $7 for students, faculty, staff, and seniors, and may be reserved by calling 603-428-2382 or by email at nectheatre@nec.edu.

Hotel La Putts is a farce/comedy that will be performed as a dramatic reading. The cast is comprised of 21 actors including NEC students, alumni, and various local community members. Set in a hotel lobby, the Putts family desperately scrambles to keep their family business afloat only to discover the ‘answer to their prayers’ has landed them in the middle of an illegal drug enterprise. The plot follows this eccentric family as they take it upon themselves to right the wrongs they have encountered.

The production is written and directed by Wally Pineault, Professor of Theatre at New England College.
