NEC Women’s Basketball Hosting Husson University in NAC Quarterfinal

HENNIKER, N.H. – New England College women’s basketball has grabbed the #3 seed heading into the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Women’s Basketball Playoffs and will host the #6 seeded Husson University Eagles in NAC Quarterfinal action on Tuesday, Feb. 19.

The Pilgrims finished the regular season with an overall record of 17-8 and a NAC record of 12-6, while the Eagles closed out the regular season 8-16 overall and 8-10 in conference.  The two teams have met twice this season as NEC has taken both games, including an 57-50 win at home in early January and more recently a 63-54 victory earlier this month in Bangor.

The game is scheduled for Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at the Bridges Gym located on the campus of New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire.  Check the NEC Athletic website for more information on game coverage.

The winner of Tuesday’s quarterfinal matchup will advance to the NAC Semifinals which will be held Friday, March 1 at the highest remaining seed’s institution.
